Looking back on a wild year

Like everyone, we’re eager to see 2020 in the rear-view mirror.  It’s been a crazy year of disruptions—with plant closings, reshuffled pickups, carrier bankruptcies, driver shortages, and more. Then, with the holiday retail season approaching, the U.S. economy surged, business inventories hit all-time lows, and importers faced unprecedented bottlenecks.

In times like these, it’s critical for us keep focusing on our mission:

SeaWide Express will exceed customer expectations by moving cargo to Alaska, Hawaii and Guam—professionally, consistently and cost-effectively.

Thanks to the can-do attitudes and resilience of our people, SeaWide has persevered through 2020.

  • We continue to invest in our business to prepare for the growth we see coming in 2021 and beyond.

  • We are revamping our systems, improving our website, and adding new tools and technologies.

  • We have increased our staffing to meet the demands of our customers.

  • Most importantly, we have been delighted to help out in every way possible as our customers rode the 2020 rollercoaster.

In short, despite a tumultuous year, SeaWide is thriving. We hope your business is doing well, too. Here’s to your success—and a smoother ride—in 2021.
